ReCAPTCHA is a new version of Google software that detects abusive traffic on your website without user friction—meaning users can browse securely without worrying about slow-downs or lag. It returns a score for each request users send to reCAPTCHA and gives them more ability to fight against spam and other abuses, keeping the website secure. NAOSSOFT can integrate and install reCAPTCHA v3 on an existing website.
ReCAPTCHA is easy on users and hard on bots. It uses an advanced risk analysis engine and adaptive challenges to keep automated software from engaging in abusive activities on a website. It does this while letting valid users pass through with ease. Without reCAPTCHA, bots automatically fill out forms on the website with spam in seconds.
NAOSSOFT is happy to announce that we were one of the first to have tested and implemented Google reCAPTCHA V3 on naossoft.com, as well as client websites.
In previous versions, users were required to manually click a checkbox or be stuck clicking boxes of storefronts, traffic lights, cars, bridges, etc, in an attempt to convince the system they are actually not robots. Now, when users enter a form on a website that’s using reCaptcha V3, they won’t see the “I’m not a robot” checkbox, nor will they have to prove they know what a cat looks like. In fact, they won’t see anything at all. Since implementation, we have been able to identify bots and suspicious requests without annoying our users by asking them to prove that they are humans.
